Open Prem is an artificial intelligence lab building the foundation of AI through open source community and collaboration. Our Intelligence Operating Environment (IOE) is positioned to accelerate the entire industry by solving major issues around AI infrastructure and distribution of AI native technologies.
We have found the solution enabling the adoption and the growth of all AI applications. The problem is not within the model, but within the foundational architecture of the applications we create. A new narrative and approach needs to be taken by engineers from different perspectives that have seen the pressing issues firsthand. This was made to serve consultants, subject matter exerts, and the passionate developers who need full control and have a unique perspective to share.
The Problem Runs Deep
Generative AI has transformed entire markets and has created a surge of startups competing for share. Too many startups focus on solving problems that have already been addressed, delivering lackluster solutions that fail to provide meaningful value to their customers. The only players benefiting from AI are the big companies with billion dollar budgets and massive teams, and even they have a set of problems that are far more challenging when introducing scale. In this market, safe AI is no where to be found.
This isn’t just a code, infrastructure, or talent issue. This is a lack of a foundation to create a safe place for innovation, collaboration, and fair competition. Big Tech is profiting from the problematic narrative they created to deceive organizations to give up what is most valuable. Their rights, sovereignty, and data.
Many organizations are trying to use AI safely, but nothing in the current market works. In truth, these organizations are gambling their profits into a flawed narrative and false promises.

But with Open Prem, the door is open. We are not a just a lab, but a spirit. A new narrative that will change how we view, use, and deploy AI systems. This allows everyone to share their perspective on the future of AI to create the most advanced applications in a fraction of the time. We are democratizing the AI landscape, enabling the market to solve real challenges and achieve the true promise of AI.

We're seeking passionate engineers to join our development team for Open Prem to bring new ideas and perspectives. We believe in a free approach allowing our team to bring in new innovations in their own way. We are a young company, with new ideas. We prioritize engineers who have so much to offer but have not yet had the opportunity to show their passion to the world. We need open minded individuals who want to make a real impact.
These are not relaxing roles. We are writing history and we expect our engineers to make the development of the platform their main objective. We have 25 spots open for 2026, these roles are very independent and require a great deal of discipline to meet objectives. We are excited to meet you and welcome you to the team.
